What we collect and why

Table bookings. Reservations are taken through SevenRooms. When you book, SevenRooms collects your name, contact details, party size, any notes you add and, where a card is requested, payment details. We use this to hold and manage your table and to contact you about your booking. SevenRooms’ own privacy notice applies to their platform.
Enquiries. If you use a form on this site or email us, we keep your name, contact details and message for as long as needed to answer you, then delete them.
Ambassadors Club. If you join our mailing list we store your email address and the date and source of your consent. We email you offers and news until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any email or by contacting us.
Website logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical data (IP address, browser, pages requested, timestamps) to keep the site secure and running. It is kept for a short period.

Our lawful bases are: performance of a contract (bookings), consent (mailing list, forms) and legitimate interests (security, replying to you, running the business).

Cookies

This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The only cookies it uses are strictly necessary ones: a session cookie for staff who log in to edit the site, and any cookie a third-party service sets after you choose to use it, for example when you load the Google map on our Find Us page or complete a booking on SevenRooms. Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, no cookie banner is shown. If we add analytics in future we will ask for your consent first.

Sharing

We share data only with the suppliers we need to run the site and take bookings: SevenRooms (reservations), our email provider (mailing list and enquiries), and our hosting provider. We do not sell personal data.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

This website is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data.
