A tribute to the street food vendor.
Indico is what us locals call home. We pay tribute to street food culture and to the noble vendors who serve every day believing "Atithi devo bhava": the guest is God.
Faheem grew up eating on the streets of North India and couldn't find that food anywhere in Birmingham. So in 2016 the first Indico opened: chaats, dhaba curries and tandoor in a room full of colour, with a bar to match.
Today Indico lives on Level 3 of the Mailbox, with artwork made specially for the room, Bollywood on the walls and a kitchen that cooks the way the roadside does: fresh every day, to order, served as soon as it's ready. Along the way came a cookbook, a spice range and a cocktail list with Spirits of Anarchy. In 2026 the menu took its longest journey yet, from India to Sri Lanka.
